Sidelined You realize a Weyteen Absame was the founder and head of all Absame in the WSLF days. The best thing I think that ever happened was Jidwaq receiving the capital. They are a subclan and have firmly the majority of the wealth of the region aswell as the vice presidency and other positions they are not your typical Xarshin clan

They are a minority in Dhagaxbur aswell Gashamo is their only district.

Ogaden is without any doubt the largest clan in Somaliweyn any non jealous person would accept that. The population varies but I am willing to bet the population of Somali galbeed is atleast 8 million and at most 15 million for reference I have made a break down of our population here....


Then why are neither you or @Habane essentially never able to win an election? Are you saying Ethiopia is rigged in the Ogadens favor also Afdheer has more people than Shinile and Jigjiga is the most populated city in Somali region. Dhagaxbur is majority Ogaden same with Qoraxey Godey fiiq Wardheer Afdheer and the Absame capital of Jigjiga. Are you trying to say the Dir in Shinile and Awbarre district are more than the Absame in 7 regions even if you add Gashamo you will still lose that bet. The real question is do you even outnumber Canfar?

Until some guy said "MJ is the largest darood clan only after OG". Which surprised me because the guy who said tha was MJ himself, I didn't realize OG were that large. Ogaden region has 9-11 million people, but not everyone in there is OG. There's even Dhulbahante living in Somali Galbeed.

Yeah it's kinda scary wlhi. The longer somali galbeed is under the control of Ethiopia, the more ethiopians will gnaw at it.

If we ever do take back ogaden, it definitely won't be in full piece. Oromos and other ethnic groups will take over many tuulos and possibly a few major cities there.

It's stupid for somalis be fighting, and it's even dumber for somalis to be fighting under the rule of another country. The only hope I have is the insane birth rate of Somalis, that's taking over Kenya so easily lol, idk if it will work against oromos and habesha though

In my opinion that estimate is on the lower end but it isn’t as unrealistic as some other folks. The Somali population is definitely underreported especially in unfriendly areas. The Ethiopian gov does that to justify under funding of the region and it is even more pronounced in areas that are considered as “unfriendly” (ONLF). They want to claim that vast territory with alot of arable land is that under populated its complete garbage.

Alot of things are gearing to change after the next election lets just be patient.

They were in the bush also fighting for there homes why was Liyu attacking Oromos in Negele for Mareexan but attacking Ogadens in K5? We can go back and forth on that but I think we know Liyu would lose.

Cagjar won’t come back they would have to bring another character to represent the prosperity party Cagjar is too hated to pass it off as a fair election and Abiy is too “progressive” to try that TPLF behavior for something so low reward. Not to mention Abiy and the ONLF don’t have particularly bad terms yet. The ONLF is a self sovereign entity rather than working for shisheeye interests it will work at empowering itself.

Saaxib imagine if Somalis could secure enough power to hold and rig their own elections without federal interference like the TPLF that would be a game changer.
