Murusade (Garfuul) was on the Banaadir coast working in the courts of Ajuuraan way before your tribe even reached here. There is a famous mahmaah that goes like this ‘gar qaadka gareen ajurana leh, gar naqsi garfuul karanla leh’. Ask yourself this, why was Murusade the only clan mentioned on this list as the indigenous tribes of the old quarters? Hiiraab as a whole was represented only by their imaam reer Yaquub. Every single Murusade sub had representatives living in Xamar from all major sub clans be they Cabdalle Sabti, Abakar, Habar idiinle, Ibrahim Sabti, Habarceyno, Hilibi, Daguuro etc. Same can’t be said about Abgaal.
