Somali as the "Native" or second language for almost all

Less than ten millions speak somali, and many somali kids in the West cant even speak their own language. So, how can you expect others to speak it then? I barely see people writing in our own language here

The only reason why English is the lingua franca of the world is because they colonized almost the entire world. Forget colonization, Somalia dont even have a government, and we are a failed state. Niggas need to get their priorities straight. We need to fix the country, and maybe your dream will become a reality bruh

#NoSelfHate but sometimes i feel the somali language is limited when discussing technical details in subjects like philosophy or science etc. Maybe we should focus more on expanding into these subjects and further developing our vocabulary first. And as @miski pointed out reading somali can be a complicated ordeal. Obviously not much time was spent in developing the script. Somebody needs to update it

I just keep it real walal. I used to have the same dreams as this person, until reality hit me. We need to get our prioriority straight. Famine, arabization, corrupt warlords\politicians, the civil war, tribalism\ignorance are what we need to get rid off in Somalia. When Somalia is no longer a failed state, and we have a government, then we can talk about the Somalia language. That's all I am saying..
