Why not invest in raising the production of your own cows and make a space for them in which they can graze and mate. Cows are numerous in Somalia, as is fish, only the blessed have numerous camels alx. But still people have to learn that self sufficiency is the best route, thinking about exporting livestock instead of importing is the right mindset.

What the farmers in Somalia are doing is what farmers have done for thousands of years. They are breeding cows that produce a lot of milk from Holland with local cows, it is way of doing genetic selection. They want the good milk producing genes to be passed to Somali cows, so that Somali cows can produce more milk.

In your article it says they can produce around 33k liter per year, the guy in the video said his cows produce 500 liter a day, that is 180k a year lol. The hawiye cows outperform the Dutch cows in Holland by a margin of 6 times
