Yes! No nation takes a failed state seriously.

How much respect do you have for a prostitute?
If you mean prostitution as in selling out the countries resources out to foreign powers, I agree. Although Puntland and Somaliland are just as guilty of this. It’s simple, a untied country is able to deter this. A fractured mess of semi autonomous-states can’t do this. Untied you stand, divided you fall. How is it that Native Americans figured this out but we haven’t?

Put some respect on our name!!

And we will seek independence in 2024 inshallah..

How much do you want to bet we will get recognized before Somaliland :hemad:
You will put some respeccc with three ccc's on Somaliland.

If Puntland ever gets recognized it will be because Somaliland laid down the ground work.

Don't play yourself

If Somaliland never gets recognized wallahi Puntland would be in the same boat.

On what basis can Puntland secede??? Om what nonexisting legal claim can Puntland secede?

With Somaliland we at least have legal claim to statehood, ask Mama Elizabeth.

Think of it like a package deal. 100% SL gets it first then there is a chance of PL getting it.

With Somaliland, Somalia is realizing the reality but with yall damn..

PL declaring independence is going to be so personal for Somalia to the point they will shift focus to yall. The outcry will :dead:

Puntland borders predate Somaliland borders and are of historical value..

You base your recognition on a non evidential illegal remains of British subjects..whereas Puntland can if it wishes to do so base her claim on a 300 year old kingdom that till today remains albeit in a ceremonial role rather than a political desires.

Mama Elizabeth will soon have a prime minister in Number 10 who doesnt recognise her and wishes to leave the Nato. I strongly advise you to seek alliances elsewhere as this Island is crumbling faster than a cookie in an ethiopian childs hand...

As far as the world is concerned PL has no legal claim on either Sool or Sanaag it's purely and entirely based on tribalism. Non-evidental? SL got their recognition before the world even knew what Somalia let alone Puntland was.

This is not non-evidental lol, you can call the current SL government illegal in the sense that they are opposing their rulers, they are de-facto, unrecognized and a breakaway state etc.

As far as the old petty kingdom goes, the world changed since then. Our current world is a result of colonialists drawing the maps, blame them. That Somaliland got recognized is 100% facts and SL claim to statehood has that as its pillar.

SL is laying the groundwork for Somali states to secede and getting recognition and you guys should thank us. Thanks to SL struggle y'all will be able to take things into your own hands if shit hits the fan.

Neither has Somaliland, hence sool sanaag and cayn are a disputed lands with some you controlling some controlled by us and some are are controlled by locals

Puntland is the child of Majeerteenia who predates Somaliland and SOMALIA..when your former masters arived on our shores puntland region was the only somali region with an effective administration and borders. A kingdom that cant be disputed.. your lands were open lands with no rule of governance and the british went passed the port town of Berbera just to chase after sayed Cabdalla Xassan.

As far as colonial legacies go, the world has changed and moved on and so should you..on a side note our kingdom still stands regardless of its pettiness.

And yes Puntland could have achieved independence if it wished for... the current federlan government was the brain child of those that gave puntland life. In 2004 SOMALIA didnt exist and was a complete shambles and had cabdulahi yusuf chosen a different path instead of breathing life back in to Mogadishu we could have been the next Eritrea. The structure of the independence claims of Somaliland is extremely volatile and very controversial and too much of a risk for the world to give a rats ass about.

Colonial borders that are no longer legal
Breaking up a member of an african union without the country having an effective government.
Claiming borders without an acquiescence of its landowners ie the dhulbahante Warsengeli and Samaroon.
Being in a military stand of dispute with a neighbouring state that's an UNIONISTS.

A proper 3rd world country quagmire...besides the red sea you have got nothing going for you in the eyes of the world.

Your case was shut before it ever reached the UN offices in New York.

True, I acknowledge that Somaliland did set that ball Rolling, maybe not the form it has taken but surely some of her great strides have been acknowledged and copied..

And some not so much like...
Ideolgy
Governance
Economy (currency)

These 3 factors it failed to set an example in

I think they were called petty kingdoms not as in petty to insult but that it was smaller type of kingdom. Was it not? I might be wrong.

SL is not a member state of the UN so it doesn't even matter, I don't know what case you are referring to but Somaliland only needs to establish itself. Puntland too, if they decide too declare independence.

As for the rest of your text, not everything is really relevant and I disagree with most of it.
