❤Somaliland❤
The whole world is watching, those bastards! We will embarrass them by becoming the first ever cashless society and also the first in the world to use an iris-based bio-metric voting system.

This win is not only for Somali people from Somaliland but all Somali people from all regions :banderas:

True nationalists would be lauding this election campaign as it is collectively giving us Somalis a good image. However, many of these so-called 'nationalists' would rather hate on the success of their fellow Somalis that they're trying to reconcile with.

Just look at this:

This will be a good step for Somaliland and Somalis from the north. let’s hope there is no violence like in Kenya. If this election is held peacefully I’ll fully support Somaliland. The whole world is watching so you better not f*ck up and not accept a violence started by a candidate who lost the election.

Beautiful video of all 3 candidates today! #MSLGA

Walahi Faysal is the most political savy of all three. He was saying he would migrate from SL if the other two won, and now he's holding their hands. The other two are too emotional, Faysal is able to keep emotions aside :wow:

Somaliland elections: Eye-dentifying voter fraud

3) Dalai Lama row

Somaliland is almost 100% Muslim, but the Dalai Lama and Buddhism came up in the election campaign, when Faisal Ali Warabe said "that Waddani Party supporters with their orange colour resemble Buddhist monks and their leader [Abdirahman Mohamed Irro] looks like the Dalai Lama".

His comments generated a massive backlash on social media, with some people accusing him of making a blasphemous statement.

Waddani Party supporters responded defiantly, rallying in cities and towns in orange-coloured clothes and orange-painted bodies.

He is pure entertainment...go listen to his latest Debate on BBC Somali , he annihilated the moderator for being an agent of the "neighboring Somalia" and told him that "we should arrest you right now but we are respecting that guy (points to a guy sitting in the audience"
