This house back home cost 75000$

it's best to buy as soon as possible. Somalia's population is only going to go up and the country is only gonna become more and more developed.

+ Africa as a whole is on the verge of a huge technological boom as well.

those 3 things together and land will get expensive quick.

I plan on buying in the next 7 years.
I will wait until it gets stable. No point of buying if I can’t see myself living there

once Somalia is stable, I fear it will be too late. I think prices will be western-like

instability is the only thing keeping Somalia from being a top dog in Africa. once it's stable, Somalia will boom.

we are literally the only african country that hasn't hored out their resources to the ajanbis.

I didn’t know it was possible to be tackier than arabs. What a feat.

The workmanship is bad as well and none of the fixtures go with each other. Not to mention the wall paper in the bathroom? Porque?

And that price is without the land with the land included its 125.000$

I’m sorry, did they forget that’s Somalis? Lol the audacity! A country with no rule of law, and you’re setting houses at 100+k? Are you dumb? Lol these people think there in the west lol

somalis generally don't understand how to evaluate things you ask some random guy selling watches back home he will just say 50$ and the watch costs less than 10$ in other markets this house price is just ridiculous and there are many like that in somalia who gonna buy a house like that sorrounded by rubbish and rotting buildings plus no security
It’s first of all in the Capital of Somaliland (Hargeisa) and it’s in my personal opinion the best neighbourhood(JigJiga Yar). That’s where most politicians,Cadaan tourists,Rich people etc live.

Out here
it is not only the importation of those materials that makes it more expensive i know a guy that had 300000$ and couldn't even buy a land in muqdisho they told him you too poor lol
Loool what? we bought A house For Less than 100k in Xamar. Not the outskirts.

Girl are you fucking retarded? What sort of dumb shit am I reading. People have been buying land for century's and prices fluctuate or increase depending a load of factors.

I hear people in Somalia steal your house and claim they have ownership. Is that true?

Houses in Xamar/Hargeisa are super expensive compared to the rest of Somalia. But still 125k is expensive for a 1-story house.

We don't understand the concept of supply and demand.

Every shed in a shanty town is worth 50k+.

Who's paying that money?

If it's for rental income you won't get your money back until 2085 with the current rents in Hargeisa.

There's also zero financing so why are the prices so high?

Even land prices are ridiculous.

Don't these people realize they're in a 3 rd world where the GDP per capita is $0.20 and even the diaspora is barely making minimum wage on averag
