This is what you call a classically handsome Somali man, Masha'Allah dhaha

Let me tell you ladies something, the most handsome Somali men are the nomads and fishermen, they are lean and muscular, and look like the Somalis of old.
Their faces are chiselled and their skin glows. Thanks to organic food and real physical labour. The ones in the cities, don't look that good in Middle-age, thanks to carb diets and sedentary lifestyles.

No homo but thats just average abti you can still find alot of them like that in cities. I agree with the perspectives on nomads and fishermen, as their dietary choices provide specific nutrients conducive to a well-defined physical structure and youthful look thats why my dad was mistaken as my brother by my teachers well aligned/defined teeth and also facial structure they have from Badiyo lifestyle no wonder i got my handsomeness from him( am asexual.)

"Average abti"...

I don't want to post images of city-dwelling Somali men in that age-range. They are NOT lean and chiselled on average, absolutely NOT.

His cheekbones are so beautiful MashaAllah. Why aren’t younger Somalis as chiseled as our ancestors? Women and men alike. Even looking at old photographs we had much more defined bone structure

It's the food, they eat organic food, don't eat too much either and are active. I guess defined faces and straight teeth from chewing hilib and not being raised on a soft, carb diet.
Plus, they get plenty of sunlight so they don't have vitamin D deficiency. Thanks to all that poisonous Asian media consumption, the beauty standards have changed, and girls are purposefully trying to gain weight. As for the guys, baasto + bariis, shaah iyo sheeko made bodies.

Genetics plays a role too. I know families who all have rabbit pronounced front teeth!
It's not merely genetics. Environment plays more of a key role.
Chewing tough food is also important, it puts stress on your bones which causes them to grow so they can better handle said stress. If you look at hunter gatherers skulls all of there teeth are worn down because they used all of them, which causes bone deposition/growth in all areas of the skull not just the mandible.
I agree. It's a confluence of factors. We can't forget that breastfeeding is a factor in early jaw development. Back home, only 1 in 3 children are exclusively breastfed for six months. I highly doubt they engage in long-term breastfeeding of 1-2 years. Add to that a rise in processed food, poor oral habits and mouth breathing, and there you go.
