I’ll be so honest, I have no hate for any Somali who decides to enter a IR relationship (might side eye them a bit) but for the most part I don’t care.

I think with Somali girls especially Im more agitated because they have more to lose in these relationships especially with madow men.

I’ll be honest I had a very close relationship with this one girl and she cut off me and her entire family because we disapproved on her marrying this guy from guinea bissau. She met him at her workplace and literally randomly decided to marry him 5 months after meeting.

We did our best, told her that he was too different and also he wasn’t expecting to be paying for everything so they went half on everything (wedding, apartment etc), she became a SJW and wore locs and talked about mother Africa and would talk in AA vernacular. She changed LITERALLY overnight!

She cut us all off for 3 YEARS until the pandemic and suddenly called to move into our aunts house. She literally looked like she aged 3 years, the mental and emotional stress this man caused her was out of this world.

I warn a lot of Somali women against ESPECIALLY madow men because 99% of the time it NEVER works out! Literally ever! If anyone can tell me one of those relationships that have lasted more than 5 years please let me know.

And what pissed me off the most is that US HER CLOSE ALLIES who loved and respected her she literally spit in our faces and only ran back because her dumb ass realized she made a mistake!

I get what you mean lool. From what I've noticed it's mainly ex Muslims in relationships with liberal/borderline Ex Muslim somalis.

I do know ex Muslims somalis that exclusively only date non Somalis. Most of the guys I know like this pretty much never dated somalis while they were teens, and as they grew older they just stuck with ajnabis. The ones I know that dated somalis while they were growing up are still with somali women.

The chicks are a mixed bag since we have a pretty loud group of divestors within our community.

Personally I think it's easier for us guys to find a Somali partner compared to the chicks. Just simply because there's more openly gaal and liberal chicks around than the guys.

The fact that we have success with these anti black ass communities always surprises me. Besides a few religious miskeen niggas, i barley know any other Somali niggas irl that hang out with Arabs and south Asians.

If i had a choice of marrying into an African American family vs an Arab or south Asian one. 10 times out of 10 I'm choosing the African American family.

AA parents won't be disappointed if their daughter/son bring home a black non African American. Old AAs are easy to get along with. I’m married to a Maghrebi woman and have very good relationship with her entire family and never experienced any form of racism. It also helps that I’m an ethnic Somali and speak Arabic. Most Maghrebis assume Somalis are Dark Arabs because they learn it in school. Are they colorist? For sure just like the entire planet including Somalis. But they don’t hate or despise Somalis or any group from the Arab cultural sphere (not saying Somalis are Arabs btw)

What you described can perhaps be applied to Somalis and how they view non-Horner Sub-Saharans. SOME Somalis look down on Bantus & other Sub-Saharans. The entire world is colorist and racist. I don't judge individuals who choose to marry outside their culture; it's a personal decision and it’s fine. However, I find it hypocritical when Somali men and women marry outside their community and then constantly criticize their own culture online, while their partner wouldn't similarly disparage their own people. Every culture has its issues, and ours is no different knowing our country has been compounded by displacement and war since 1990 of course is bound to happen.If you choose to marry outside your culture, I wish you happiness, but please refrain from disparaging your roots. Also, respect your partner's cultural identity; don't try to assimilate them into Somali culture unless they freely choose to adopt certain traditions. Let's celebrate diversity and promote mutual respect.
