I'm far north. Djibouti, and we can hop on a boat and be in Arabia in like an hour or so. And I don't notice any difference in appearance in is Djiboutians from southerners. Although the different non ethnics in south are unique. The only non ethnics here in Djibouti are afars and some yemenis and both are clearly seperated from us Somali.

It depends. I have seen the range. Even siblings that look like two different races, though they are mixed-race.

Despite ancient admixture. Not all Somalis carry SLC4A5. Some are GG (non-carriers). The rest are AG or AA. However, something like skin tone is very complex and has many genes associated with it. You can still be light brown and carry GG and dark brown, but AA. Conversely, you can be GG and very dark and AA and quite light. It's interesting.
