to all Somalis demanding tourism this is what it leads to

This is what tourism ( aka -> terrorism) has done to Thailand. It has turned into a pervert capital of the world. The same thing is happening to any country where tourism is growing. Tourism destroys potential holds back economy and brings in a lot of haram to your society.

Somalia doesn't need to worry about this. Thailand wasn't even Muslim anyway, so they're not worried about haram or anything. I think they're the only south east asian country with gay marriage

Tourism is only bad if it’s something your country is reliant on. Somalia won’t be reliant on tourism for at least a few decades due to our bad rep
Somalis don't build factories, workshops, hospitals, mines or anything other than hotels. They are gearing in that direction even if the tourism is from foreign Somalis it's still bad.

sex tourism is also booming in kenya the somali community is mostly unaffected except for somali men who take a wife there and abandon them. ethiopia also has a growing sexpat issue mostly coming from black men fetishizing their features but theres less because of the hiv rate.

That one Safari hotel in Borama triggered yall so much. Tourism is regulated by laws and a country's social mores.

Thailand is pervert capital because of Thai culture and attitudes. Simple as that.

Most of these accomadations are aimed at expats, regional traders and Somalis in the diaspora usually. They need some place to stay on their trip or short stay.

They do build factories, workshops, and hospitals. All hospitals are private , health care should be nationalized Inshallah.

In Mogadishu they built milk processing factories, they built pharmaceutical manufacturing factories. Puntland they built boat manufacturing factories, and are building a large fish industrial processing plant. In Somaliland they built a new cement plant, beverage factories

Those are the major ones but there dozens of factories just scattered around.

Mogadishu alone has like 23 factories and 33 industrial facilities

They also have steel and salt production factory in Galdmudug as well. Salt miners in Puntland and Gedo actually earn a decent wage. Gold miners too, all they need now is investments, processing facilities and better equipment.

I have said it before private businesses are a good way to draw in capital that can be invested in industries and factories and infrastructure and it shows.

Most of the hotels in Borama just host weddings, dinners, business meeting etc... I helped finance a venue for one of my cousins to work, he offers wedding photo and video packages and is filled till the end of 2025.

I wouldn't neccesaily say it's down to just tourism it's also about the local people, the government and how they manage tourism.

Look at UAE or Qatar, they have a lot of tourism but you will never see their women engaging in degeneracy. Futher more if they do they and the guy will get harsh consequences.

So personally I would say this can only happen to your nation if the people and the government allow it to happen.

You guys love to take everything to the extreme.... Asians are degenerates by nature a bunch of gaalo that only worship cadaans , them and the freaked out cadaan men are a match made in heaven. Even though i highly doubt anyone would go to Somalia for "tourism" we still gonna be aight

Why does somalia constantly hoard their wealth/development into mogadishu? Have we not learnt our lesson from the civil war?

I told yall in the that thread Somali investments go to a bunch of different things. That report i shared used figures from 2018, so it probably more than that now in Mogadishu.

They also don't count numbers from Puntland which has many factories and industrial facilities. There is thread on here that covers it

Nearly all of the capital investments to support this comes either from local businesses and the diaspora. There are no loans or large sums FDI going into, so it's remarkeable in of itself what Somalis have achieved on their own, especially since they lost their state own industries.
