That’s strange. By trend do you mean this is like a current social event/game happening like ‘happyslap’ in the 2000s? I’ve never had this issue to be honest, once or twice from people who are busy looking at their phone but I’ve not come across this. Interesting. Do you think it’s racially motivated ?

Before it happened to me, I heard a classmate of mine talking about it and it’s actually quite common in Japan, so much so that there’s a term for it ‘butsukari otoko’. It’s not just a simple, accidental shoulder bump, men deliberately walk towards a woman and forcefully slam their shoulder into hers. They do this intentionally because they’re misogynists and they quickly walk away to avoid being confronted because they’re COWARDS. They also do it in very crowded places so they can get away with it and to also confuse you. The guy that did it to me did it in a train station while I was getting out and he was getting in. It hurt a lot, I wish I had the chance to beat his ass
