No, he isn't a target. He has the skill to maybe make the league through the G-League if he works hard. But he's 100% not getting drafted. He's only putting up 8 PPG and he's a senior already on top of the fact that he's undersized.

Yeah he should probably do overseas ball and push to make a decent living over there. Pay is nice.

because Somalia has been in ruins for the past 30 years and we didn't have the infrastructure to develop sports.

On top of the fact that we are still in our first generation for the diaspora and parents who ran away from a war aren't gonna let their kids put sports over an education.

There's always some athletes from wartorn countries that make it in football/NBA. There's nearly a million diaspora Somali's, it's odd not to produce 1 top-level athlete in the NBA/Football.

Though, I've seen some Somali youth players coming through, inshallah a big star comes through in the next 10 years
