This is nothing more then FGS trying to gain leverage against Ethiopia and succeeding horrifically.

From what I read between the lines, FGS will allow Ethiopia to participate in AUSSOM in exchange that all ethiopian troops in Somalia are there ”at the request of FGS, not FMS”.

You can’t kick them out with a stern warning, you need strenght and capability. Xoogga dalka somaliyeed without the xoog. We need a functioning, well co-ordinared, logistically good army and all of this qualities are nonexistant.

There is solutions for this, but its not going to be implemented soon.

This was just formality Ethiopia was never leaving under any scenario. Bay Bakool Gedo and Hiraan non negotiable buffer for Ethiopia. The clans there also using Ethiopia as buffer against Al shabab and FGS who both also utilize foreigners.
