The American south recently industrialized they’ve been pushing up American GDP and GDP per capita numbers up while the Europeans have to deal with slow growth and a increasingly unsustainable welfare state

In the last few months, I began to think China was right to create their Internet Great Wall. This allowed them to create internet start-ups that could compete with the Americans. Plus it also allows them to have Chinese internet while the rest of the words internet is American.

Only South Korea has some tech companies like Samsung; the EU has none and is still reliant on cars, food, drugs, and financial services for there economy. The UK only has services and financial services.

Nearly all growth in the last 25 years is in China and the USA.

EU and UK have declined, and the EU is starting to show with Germany going down recently and the UK around 2010.
