If the attack was broken your top leadership wouldn't calaacal nonstop. If they had the upper hand they wouldn't resort to killing POWs. Only a defeated army kills POWs in order to compensate the death toll.

Awrtable, Carab Salax and Madhiban are extremely small clans but the Jeegaans that died there were all from large tribes. This isn't a "Darod" war only those that live in Puntland.
