First of all, Alshabab are khawarij 'dogs of hell', the worst of creations. They have killed more Muslims than amisom or SFG have killed, how many innocent Somalis did they kill by collateral. They have no strategy, they have no plans and frankly speaking they have no interest other than their own interests and brainwashing our youth.

Secondly to the mofo who think its funny snitching to FBI or whatever, hoyadin wasa , if you have something to say, say it. The guy asked a questioned, if you don't like his views, then ignore it or put you opinion out. We don't need any more attention, especially from these gaalo.

1. The former head of the Central Bank of Somalia, Yussur Abrar, quit because Hassan Sheikh Mohamud told her to divert public funds to his offshore accounts. This shows the systemic corruption of the so-called Somali government. If the president is involved in such a brazen display of corruption, imagine what other politicians are doing.

2. The so-called Somali government is promoting animosity between Somali clans. This is evident in Jubbaland, Galkayo, Merka, etc. They aren't interested in Somalis living together in peace.

3. Somali women are the biggest victim of this so-called government. Not only are the they the victims of wholesale rape and violence but they are now being shipped en masse to countries where they're exposed to all kinds of human rights abuses. As a Somali Muslim man, it pains me to see my sisters enduring so much agony.

4. Our seas, land and natural resources are being sold for peanuts just so that politicians can receive kickbacks. Our arable land is sold to foreigners while our people starve.

I'm ashamed to see my people being taken advantage of. I'm angry at this apostate, NGO-funded "government' that lacks any form of dignity.

Al Shabaab does not have the infastructure and discipline to deal with the issues you stated above. In fact their answer is to take us back to 7th century Arabia which only takes us back to square one. The solution is clean transparent government elected by the people for the people. They seem like pipe dreams now, but I believe it is possible. As for al shabaab literally the status quo is much better than having them

If my own son joined Al-Kebab I'd volunteer to put a bullet in him myself if he was ever caught. These people are the greatest threat to Islam and Somalia in the modern age. The damage they've done to our deen and it's reputation far exceeds anything that outsiders have done.

Corruption is universal. Here's a fun fact, there's corruption within Alshabaab too. Don't you recall Godane neutralising all his enemies within and creating a cult-like team that weren't allowed to voice their opinions?

What about Jihadi brides? Wearing Burqa? Women walking with curfews? Being told to not wear bras? Women not allowed to participate in Sports, leisure, politics, Arts etc Forget rape, one time Alshabaab bombed a location where old women were cleaning the streets, it just happened to be near a government area but they did it regardless. I can't console with a group that have such a disregard for human life.

Al Shabab are khawrij who are mostly illiterate, they are the least qualified group to run anything in Somalia. If they ever take over Somalia, it will be a bloodbath because all that they understand is killing, cutting off hands and stoning women. 2. A ruling body must tax its citizens. This is standard practice. How else would they go about garnering revenue?

Militants extorting local businesses on pain of death is not taxation. You might as well label Mafia "protection" rackets taxation.

3. Al Shabaab gave farmers freedom to grow crops and tax a small portion of the proceeds. They use the tax dollars to accommodate the infrastructural and social needs of its citizens, one example being when they build canals for irrigation. I'm sure you would much rather the citizens be self-sufficient instead of relying on food aid which often times arrives expired. Also, as many of you know, food aid undermines Somalis ability to be self-sufficient.

During the height of the recent famine, Al Shabab were routinely accused of not only confiscating the meager resources of the people they terrorize, but in fact refusing and then "taxing" humanitarian organizations for the "privilege" of delivering food aid to people who were literally starving to death. It is no surprise the areas they controlled were the hardest hit by the famine.

4. Al Shabaab is the only group protecting the dignity of the Somali people. Somali "government" troops rape Somali women in IDP camps, it is documented. They bring Somali women and girls to AMISOM soldiers to have sexual intercourse with them. The so-called Somali government does so many things to destroy Somali society.

Again, whataboutism is not a valid defense. We all know the depravity of the so called national army, yet Al Shabab are no different. They pledged allegiance not to Somalia or the Somali people, but to Al Qaeda and the foreign Arabs that bankroll them. They are as alien to Somalia as AMISOM. As I mentioned before, they routinely kidnap or coerce young women into marriages with their fighters e.g.


Al Shabaab never shies away from confrontation with AMISOM crusaders. Did they flee at the sight of foreign troops when they killed 100+ Kenyan crusaders in El Adde, or when they killed scores of Burundian, Ugandan and Ethiopian crusaders on countless occasions?

It is more than evident that Al Shabab has totally lost the support of the populace and with it, their capacity to sustain any long term engagements against AMISOM beyond a few desperate raids, ambushes, and suicide bombings, quite unlike their impressive victory over the Ethiopian forces nearly a decade ago. Now, they resort to hiding in the bushes waiting to make a move in the event foreign forces decide to abandon a particular position.

As I said earlier, their self defeating tactics have cost them the hearts and minds of the people who once viewed them as liberators and now view them as just another predatory militant group albeit masquerading under the pretense of religion.

I heard this story from relatives of the girl, they blackmailed girl by throwing her dad in jail to marry a foreigner thug. However after one month from her marriage, she was like semi Prisoner, she called her family to check on them. The husband killed her because he thought that she was spying on them.
