Nobody forced you to fight for 3 decades. Somalia's population would explode if it was a developed country.

We have a low population because of a high mortality rate due to disease, war and famine.

My point was maybe you shouldn't be making fun of Mexico it has a trillion dollar economy. Nigeria has a bigger population and more resources and yet only has an economy less than a third of Mexico's.

- Mexico falls under NAFTA and hence gets a favourable position for US trade. Yeah, it's easy to become relatively rich with incentives like that.

- Somalia's GDP stats are hot air. Nobody pays tax and shit and the black market economy is unknown.

NAFTA only favours multinational conglomerates and bankers. It does not fuel economic growth since more competitive and better US products are forced on the Mexican consumer pushing less developed Mexican industries out of business.

Whatever Somalia's actual GDP is, it still pathetically low even compared to other poor African countries.
