Let me be the devil's advocate here.

Maybe she is talking about how Donald Trump is helping Somalia financially and militarily to become a functioning State and defeat the terrorists, He increased both the U.S aid to Somalia and American military personal in Somalia and stepped up the drone attacks on both Alshabab and ISIS. Tank kale, as a nationalist, Trump has revived the local industries and created new manufacturing industries and this benefits all Americans including unemployed Somali Americans.

Since no Somali wants or agrees that Somalia (if we were a stable and rich country) should take refugees from poorer African countries and we are racists towards Bantu Somalis, can't the American nationalists exercise such policies? Furthermore, the reality is Somalia is a shitty place at the moment and we ourselves call it is a shitty place and Donald Trump always says like it is, why are we offended by him calling our country a shitty place?

Politically, we shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket and be taken for granted, diversity in politics shows the maturity and the complexity of humans and when the 'other' team comes to power, you have a team there that advances the needs of your community. There are families in the United States and elsewhere in the Western world whose politial loyalties towards the Alt-Right/Neo-Conservatives Vs those who support the Liberal are divided and they get along very well. Without insulting and calling her names, can we discuss why we don't like her team?

Btw, I'm one the few extreme Liberals (socially) here and I can't stand neo-conservatives or the Alt-Right.

There are more jobs now in general but there was also more jobs at the end of Obama’s second term. Second, the tariffs he put in place of China is not helping us the consumers or a loyal base of his the farmers. Third, people predict there will be a recession because of Trump’s economy. Americans today have to work more jobs in order to live because one job’s wages ain’t enough to live on.

Also, you are forgetting something by calling us shitty, by saying to his voters we are are problem in Minnesota. You know what that caused his voters to ransack our shops, make conspiracy theories about us, Putting fake stories out there( ex. Jacob wohl isis fabrication, saying that one dude in MOA who thrown a child off a balcony is Somali, the gang of dudes who beat up a guy in stadium village is a Somali gang), masjid al farouq being bombed, and people trying bomb a housing complex full of Somalis in Kansas.

I would like to see diversity but supporting a person who obviously hates us is not my thing and who never condemns his supporters who do these actions makes me feel like he is ok with it. Which is why I can’t see no benefits from Trumps presidency to Somali Americans.

Its not that people are against conservative values. More of the party being racist. There is a reason why white racist 90% of the time vote right wing. I said the jobs stuff because people usually say it was because of Trump that there are increase in Jobs but in reality it’s not he inherited it and I looked up the manufacturing thing you said and looks like they are actually stagnant and they are one of the reasons why economists are warning of a possible recession. Wage stagnation is not a Trump creation but it’s not like he is helping.

Good points and you are right, manufacturing jobs took a big hit lately after Trump encouraged investors to invest in local industries and thus created many jobs. But everything else about the economy (unless the country is in an actual recession), most predictions and the visualisations or graphs presented are partisan politics made to fit certain narratives. What is clear right now is that the American economy isn't doing worse than during Obama's last term, but it is slightly better.

She might have personal business interests in supporting Trump or maybe a religious one because of his connection with the far right religious groups and their objections to liberal policies like abortion and the LGBT rights and doesn’t care about his feud with Ilhaan or his ban of Somalis.
