a majority of Americans like over 60 to 70 percent believe in free college, free health care, ending all the wars, and are against the wall so if you think this is far left and not what the majority of Americans support than you haven't been following American politics closely, also yeah its not really far left as this is centralism in the rest of the developed world
You had the goddamn Tea Party born about a decade or so ago, which was stylized on the American revolutionaries of old who fought high taxation from the British.
We’re a capitalist society. Most people are scared of communism and socialism on crack, which are negative connotations and are thus used successfully by Trump and the Republicans to point out to the public how they’re going to get taxed half to death with the way Democrats are headed. This isn’t Scandinavia.
