a majority of Americans like over 60 to 70 percent believe in free college, free health care, ending all the wars, and are against the wall so if you think this is far left and not what the majority of Americans support than you haven't been following American politics closely, also yeah its not really far left as this is centralism in the rest of the developed world

Many studies prove that diversity ruins social cohesion and people's willingness to be altruistic towards strangers (not completely, but it lowers it).

I don't like it. I don't like it at all, man. I actually hate it.

I don't believe the U.S will become a Social Democratic country like in Scandinavia overnight, but they will, without a doubt, gain much from incorporating a few aspects of it gradually. It's not realistic to expect a total systematic change with the corporate powers and the elites still in place. But things like free health care and colleges are possible.

The US is different and has a diversified past to begin with: NAs, poor white settlers, Irish indentured servants, imported AAs, Hispanics, and subsequent Asian immigrants, refugees, and everything else. It’s nothing like Europe with an ethnic native population (who’s still dominant) and other [recent] immigrants.

It’s an issue of scale, more than anything else. We love to compare ourselves to the social programs of minuscule countries/populations. Canada has a whooping population of nearly 40 million or less. The US is somewhere in the neighborhood of 350 million.
