Trump wants to f#ck up the US consumers and economy– what your take?

The guy wants to impose tariffs on the 2nd and 3rd supplies of goods on Canada and Mexico, the guy seems he doens't care about the voters, especially the poor ones, or the economy.



Canada is the largest market for the US. And supplier for essential goods

To me, if that happened, it gonna be a good lesson for the MAGA and dumb lower class republicans who vote against their economic interests

Does the average american not bother to do a quick google search of what tariff means?

It’s like Brexit all over again. It’s like people don’t learn. Being a politician that can sway the masses is easy if you’re able to tap into these talking points. Find a boogeyman, usually immigrants will do, promise to lower costs and blame immigration and immigrants for the increase in cost of living, insinuate that you’ll be putting the natives or in the case of America the conquerors (the cadaans) first. Be sympathetic and make them feel like the victims being hard done by the natives and the establishment even though you are literally the establishment and a billionaire to boot. Talk about how those in powers don’t care about them, even though you don’t care about them as well nor can you relate to them.

As for the working class ‘learning’, they never will. Racism, ‘the others’ and the idea of victimhood due to foriegners is a toxic mix. Most of them will never connect the dots and understand that people like Trump, the elite billionaire class are indeed the ones who are the cause of many of their issues. That’s because most working class and middle class Americans think of themselves as aspiring millionaires/billionaires. They think they can identify with Trump lol.
