Totally false, some part of west African was colonised for 120 years. Before that some part that region had cities who were more “organised “ than some European cities. Europeans came and the time froze for these organised cities, no development. And on top of that the coloniser destroyed the ruling class and system, the mechanism that hold the ppl together and insured stability. Europeans did some infrastructure that benefited them, but when they left, they didn’t leave anything behind without destroying it, documents, infrastructure and so on, literally catastrophe.
