Some of my good uni friends were from Hong Kong. A lot of cadaans were lowkey discriminatory towards them though. So I wonder how this will play out hmm

If you have the grades then their is no need to worry. Alot of unis in the last few years have added additional departments and subjects to boost student membership. UK universities can always boost the number of applicants they will take that year to fit the demand.

A likely issue is more competition for good jobs and places to rent.
RIP London

Kkkkkk they will all go London and rise housing prices even higher. I have noticed the Somalis in London are the ones who have been there since the 80s and 90s whereas reer EU and recent qaxootis have been forced to go to the less desirable cities. Try to convince a London Somali to move to Luton or Milton Keynes nearby and will act like they have heard they got a cancer diagnosis. They will cry and beg and say "I'm London born and bred. My whole life is here" to the many councils and demand a home.

London is the most expensive city in Europe if doing a genuine comparison use other cities or the countryside.

London is a Primate-city. it is home to 13% of the entire population of the country. There's nothing really comparable to that. It's the financial, business, economic, and social center of the country, if you took away that city and looked at only other cities, the country would be a shell of itself.

Greater London's population stands at nearly 10 million, almost four times that of UK's second largest city—Greater Manchester. On the other hand, Greater NYC has 20 million, while the second largest city, Los Angeles, has a close 18 million.

Why would you even want to go anywhere else? Who wants to buy a house in a town in rural Britain or live in a place called Bristol? Sounds mad depressing.

London should be compared with New York, Paris, and other first class cities. Not minnesota or texas.

This is what half a million gets you in Amsterdam

I find the immigrant mentality intriguing, At what point do you go from fresh off the boat onto someone else's land to "unaka leh" we don't need anymore asians.
this is what happens when you want to be the dominant economic military power expect immigration from those below you

Texas isn't a city. :pachah1: :mjlol:

Houston is a first class city, comparable to Paris, it even has a bigger population that of Paris. 2.5 million vs 2.1 million. And 3 times as big of a population than Amsterdam.

So, this argument kind of falls flat when you take that into account.

Also, this house is 15 minutes outside of a major city of 2.5 million people.

I've been to Bristol before and I agree with you on that lol. But depending on the person skills and qualifications somewhere booming like Manchester might be a great city to move to. If I was cadaan I wouldn't mind the countryside but I don't want to be an anomaly.

I forgot about houston, that famous city everyone goes on holiday to

Also , Florida is a shitty place , no one want to live there unless you're 'Florida man ' or swamp creature.:mjlol:

fair comparison will been , San Francisco, NYC , Boston or LA

You're really falling for that meme? Florida is a beautiful place with sunshine all year long, good-price real estate, high salaries and low taxes. It has no income tax.

22 million people live there, that's 1/3 the population of the UK. Do you think they hate it?
