Stop making excuses, aid money shouldn’t be a source of income especially when it comes with strings attached. Every paper government has been corrupt and the citizens continue to suffer. All these so called leaders are xasid, they fill their stomachs while the people starve to death. Ilahay will hold them accountable.

This news comes on the back of the Somali government attendance to the Jerusalem conference in Istanbul which was attended by all Islamic countries.

This move should be understood as part of a wider geopolitical plan, when the US cuts aid, it's a sign that their tutelage system is being rejected, the reason they are able to give aid is because of how much they pillage Somalia as well as the rest of the world.

Their entire aid budget doesn't make up 1% of the real assets & wealth they loot, why else would you have 4 clandestine CIA bases in the poorest country in the world long before shabab or ICU ever existed ?

People should read the famous book that exposed this imperialist system titled "Low intensity operations: Subversion, Insurgency and Peace Keeping" to understand how these people operate all over the world.

Amisom is the peace keeping arm that will facilitate the pillaging, the insurgency arm is al-shabab which gives the legitimacy and the subversion is what you see happening right now by undermining any institution from being ever built or self sufficiency from being ever obtained (all covert actions)

The Somali government want's al-shabab out and it's own army to take over, both of which go against the imperial tutelage system, everything else is just useless noise for the consumption of the ignoramus.

I don't really see a way out in the near future for a few reasons, the most damning is exemplified by the comments of @Abdalla who like a true dupe from the comfort of the west is willing to fight for a qabiilist cause which none of the leaders of his clan even care about.

I don’t think PL could support itself if it were an independent country unless they discovered a lot of oil/gas deposits. I would have supported it either way if PL was more fair to non-MJs and evolved from tribalism. Somalia won’t be recovering post 1991 ever again.

I don’t see what’s so great about centralism? What progress was made from 1960-1969 other than corruption and tribalism? There were 50+ political parties majority of which were clan related. The reason why Siad Barre was able to capture power so easily was because the so called democratic central government was a FAILURE.

If a central democratic government failed then, then how on earth could it succeed today? Federalism is the best solution in my opinion. The reason why PL or w/e federal state has so much power is because there is no constitution or laws saying they are doing anything wrong!
