We aren't united sxb. isaaq people hate each other to the core and we could easily have a much destructive civil war if we had a country. Let's aim Somaliland to become a federal state. We are all Somalis at the end of the day.
There's lots of money to be made in the south due to it's growing economy and resources and Alshabab are on the bleak of extinction so isaaqs should take advantage of this opportunity sxb.

Those companies have credited non-existing entities (somaliland) in the eyes of international law. Somalia government (or a successive government in Hargeisa) can keep all that property for free without oweing anything to anyone. Those foreign companies should have made sure they were making legally binding agreements.

400 million is not a lot of money for Arabs given the possible return on investment and strategic significance of the port, the good outway the bad. At most they will probably only have to renegotiate the port with Somalia but as long as Somaliland supports them they will continue. What they invested is peanuts in the grand scheme of things
