I’m not selecting a uni based on the number of Somalis that go there but it defo is a factor

Really shit ones, but there is somali society club in a lot of good universities but most of the boys study medicine in those, London have a lot of Somalis as well as Birmingham

Yeah if you want to meet somalis and there’s a lot of Somalis in Warwick they just travel from Birmingham, I don’t know about bath, but there was somalis in uni of notts, so who knows

You can study university part tine 6 years. You will get student finance for 6 years, special support grant element wich is 4k a year.

You can also get your own note taker if your disabled and thet will get paid 17k a year to help you at home.

London Uni's, Birmingham, Nottingham and a bunch of other major ones have a decent Somali population. You're best off avoiding places like Warwick, Durham and Exeter. It's Oxford rejects and tory strongholds made up of posh cadaan people.

I had the opportunity to visit the Exeter campus, f*ck that wallahi. It's something you should take into consideration if you're not onto a word class or competitive course.

I agree avoid Exeter unless your a white washed somali that enjoys doing blow in bathrooms with Lewis and Cordelia. Just pick London universities or stick with Birmingham, SOAS, Queen Mary, UCL and City are some of the few in London. It also kinda depends on your degree and gender, the girls are much more diverse in picking degrees while the boys tend to either stick with computer science/IT, medicine or law and then you have the occasional few that does engineering.

Warwick has a Somali society tho I thought that means it has a decent somali population. Also it’s really close to Birmingham. I would never step foot in Durham or Exeter tho

Warwick is pretty close to Birmingham and bath is pretty close to Bristol, I’ll be ok right

Also the course I’m trying to do is finance or finance/economics I’m pretty sure a decent number of somalis do those courses
