It will be interesting to see how he reacts, given that he has previously stated that allowing Ukraine to use ATACMS against Russia would amount to direct NATO involvement. The question is: will he keep a cool head and wait until January 20 to negotiate with the new administration, or will the Democrats escalate the situation further to ensure Trump has little left to fix? It’s clear the Democrats don’t want Trump to go down in history as the president who ended the Russia-Ukraine war.
