Itβs legal where Iβm at and super common in the town I grew up in and anecdotally speaking also common in the city. Not talked about a lot but itβs everywhere. The only thing that is disputed is whether itβs ethical and the common argument is there being a power gap but you could say that of any relationship

I don't know where you live but it's not common for 20+ year olds to date teenagers in the cities I've lived in.
Even in high school we use to dunk on 18 year old seniors for trying to date 14-15 year old freshman. 19-21 year olds use to get dunked on for even trying to date high schoolers. All of these dudes were straight up losers as well.
From 19-21 you have no business dating anyone under the age of 18.

I'm sure you've all noticed that girls are never allowed to experience childhood/teenhood. As soon as they're born they're adultified or sexualised. It really creeps me out that men with such mentalities are allowed to have daughters. It reminds me of the topic where a Somali man made his 16 year old daughter marry a man that was 10 years older. That man proceeded to rape her and abuse her, and of course, she ran away.
Not that men don't abuse women their own age, but it's already hard for grown women to escape an abuser, let alone a teenager/child.
This is why most of us are deeply suspicious and creeped out by these large age-gap relationships.
