Unpopular opinion but Ali dawah and Mohamed hijab are not anti Somali 🤷‍♀️

Now these two have been getting a bag rep on this site but I don’t think they’re anti Somali / black I think there’s just a cultural difference that Somali people don’t realise or acknowledge. IMO Mohamed was attacking Somali women politicians because they’re wearing a hijab , for most Muslims communities it’s a religious garb and symbol but Somalis treat it as a cultural cloth on top of their head . non Somali Muslims and gaalo don’t know this but it’s the reality.

I shall make another thread about this .

The Somali community has shamed the hijab to be honest. Yes, Somalis were supposedly the first group to wear the hijab in the West, but hijab doesn't make you a good Muslim.

Good manners does.

You will see a Somali girl dressing and behaving provocatively in public whilst wearing a hijab BUT she may not pray or even practise.
Meanwhile an Indian/Pakistani girl doesn't wear hijab but she doesn't miss a prayer and she is well-mannered.

Stop putting a hijab on your daughters before teaching her islamic manners and instilling love for the deen. Somali girls are now even "MODELLING" with the hijab on. Somalis have committed crimes against the hijab, may Allah guide our reckless people.

It’s not that they are anti Somalis. Hijab is Egyptian and Ali is Kurd. Have you ever seen them criticise their own people and what’s going in those communities? That’s because they would receive real push back and it would lead to violence.

first I’m mostly commenting about Mohamed hijab, and quite frankly it’s rare for him to even bring up Somalis , I believe if that republican didn’t wear a hijab he wouldn’t have attacked her but ilhan and her are visible Muslims in the west what other politicians in America / west wear a hijab ?

Ali dawah is a troll to me , no offence he’s a revert and idc for their opinions

I agree Ali Dawah is a troll but you shouldn't think bad of reverts. Have you heard of people like Muhammad Tim Humble, Bilal Philips, Abu Usamah At-Thahabi, Abdulwahid Stephenson, Ismail Bullock, John Fontain? They are knowledgeable and good people. The greatest people of this ummah after the prophets are Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan, and Ali and they were reverts. In fact, most of the sahaaba were reverts.

Yeah, the idea that those guys are anti-Somali is an emotional overreaction. Somalis in these places have a damn near persecution complex developed based on real negative feedback from non-Somali online lowlifes which many equal lowlife internet dwelling Somalis take to heart and engage in toxic back and forth with.

Those two individuals are, of course, not exempt from making mistakes and you can say your piece about their delivery method or their approach to things about the deen in a reasonable way, but pay attention to the type of people that are overly eager to jump on their case for small mishaps or misunderstandings, when in reality the far majority of what they do are good things. It's always some anti-Islamic motives or feminist ego-trip disguised as a collective Somali concern. These cowards, instead of saying what they mean, wanting to criticize what they know to be values many Somalis hold, they disguise their motives and rather want to cause discord toward ajnabi Muslims (from an individual perspective, however, take notice how they always extrapolate toward whole ethnic groups in the process) and Somalis as a way to drive a wedge needlessly and you see how they always use phrases like "muh ummah" in the most desperate attempts to equate things that do not correlate other than wanting to weaken the idea of Islam in the conception of Somalis and foolishly mistakenly thinking it weakens the supreme resiliency of Islam.

Only miserable people want you to isolate yourself from other people and believe that all other people are enemies. Those are not good human values and not the reality whatsoever. There are matters of politics that are way less than ideal that can be spoken of in their own contexts, but politics and political organizations don't dictate population ethos. We're not a people swayed by every darn fake outrage/hysteria trend and reactionary self-defeating social media linguistic ecosystem that comes around the corner. These people are low-spirited, pessimistic fools who exist in the mode of apathy, hate, and bitterness as a form of immature coping mechanism because they refuse to regulate their thoughts and traded real value for a cheap, detrimental mode of western in-built moral degrading dysfunction profilicty.

Mohammed Hijab was literally creating videos upon videos on Dina Tokia a fellow Egyptian. She even responded due to how annoyed she was. He also used to make a lot of videos about that short Yemeni youtuber.

Lets be fair here and actually be factual. I don't care MH but saying he doesn't target his own is false. I don't think they care about race.

some somali people have inferiority complex lol. If i criticize that rashida taiba lady does that make me anti palestinian, no. should all palestinians get offended because I criticized one of their people. you shouldn't let people walk all over you and humiliate you like SOME people do, but tbh being rabid makes you look weak and like you are too concerned with validation from others, or that you feel like you are beneath them...
