Still doesn’t answer the question of why Somalis are not armed?
Somalis loves their guns back home but the only case a gun is needed, in South Africa, they don't have one of course.
There is no law in the way of having a gun as long as one have permanent residence:

Somalis need to defend themselves. They chose to go to South Africa. It’s not lost on me that Somalis chase Oromos out of Somalia, degrade Bantus, praise Syrian refugees, but want to live freely in other peoples lands and expect sympathy. Until they learn to respect everyone, they better pick themselves up by the bootstraps and get to looting too
