Upsetting case in Carmo,Somalia

Courts here help more than kenya and somalia. Lets be for real. Thts why im glad this guy lives in america and he can be reported. In kenya a poor person can pay authorities off and go home.
Maybe its different from the area I'm from cuz the girls and women I know who've gone through it got no justice at all even when they reported it to the police. Their abuser is out there in the world enjoying life and freedom.

BBC news picked it up, and there is good news;

Puntland's police and human rights authorities intervened on 25 March, removing the girl from the man's home after her family filed a complaint.

The girl is now back with her family, Puntland's police force told the BBC.

Additionally, an investigation into the case has been launched, government officials have said.

It's odd that the BBC would make this claim:

"It has also prompted fresh debates about child protection laws, as currently there is no minimum legal age for marriage":

Both her father and her abductor broke numerous state and federal laws in regards to child "marriage". Anyone else involved must pay the consequences, since all are criminals:

Federal law:

Article 28. Family Care:

1. No marriage shall be legal without the free consent of both the man and the woman, or if one or both of them have not reached the age of maturity.

Article 29. Children:

2. Every child has the right to be protected from mistreatment, neglect, abuse, or degradation.
7. In every matter concerning a child, the child's best interests are of paramount importance.
8. In this Article a "child" is defined as any person under 18 years of age.

State (Puntland) Law:

Article 30 - FAMILY RIGHT

The family is the foundation of society. The family consists of a man and a woman who are adults and legally married, and includes their children. The existence of the family shall be protected by the law.

Article 31 - RIGHTS OF CHILDREN
I. A minor is any individual below the age of fifteen (15) years.
2. A minor has a right to life, name, nationality, upbringing, education and health care.

Inshallah she gets the justice she deserves and truly needs. Additionally, I am unaware if Puntland has updated their constitution or codified a bill as I am citing the 2011 update of the 2009 version. Does anyone know? Article 31, subsection #1 needs to be updated immediately. Both Puntland and the Federal Government need to enact harsher penalties.

Please NEVER let a man be your child's dugsi teacher, I am warning all of you. NEVER.
Even if it's a young boy, I don't care. Women teachers, in classes where there are multiple students. Nothing independent.

This man was not only her uncle, he was her mosque 'teacher' and he was supposed to teach her islam. Instead he chose to teach her about sexual intercourse by making her his 'wife'. I don't to hear opinions from no boundary having freaks who lust after female children.
Someone needs to do a study on why religious institutions keep getting the sickest ped0s. That and our country and even Duqsis in the west have zero vetting. Its too unsafe to leave children in these places. It's horrifying and someone has to bring awarness. So many people talk about getting whipped by their Macalim like it is normal.

They go where children are.. schools, sports etc. and being in religious spaces means ppl trust you more.

They love to take positions where kids have to obey them especial daycare, schools, after school activities etc. Also watch out for your children’s social media and the games they play. These people love to target and groom kids there. Parents need to be hyper vigilant in not only the real world but the online world too.

They hardly ever stone the right people over there.

Those dugsi teachers and sheikhs act like catholic priests before they finally got exposed. Not shocking, it’s near impossible to speak out against them if there’s misconduct, you’d be accused of being gaal.
