It's not a grift. Somalia really needs US aid. If US cuts all aid, millions would starve.
The US was responsible for 50% of all aid to Somalia in 2023.
This kind of thing is not funny. We literally don't have enough money to feed all of our people, Somaliland included.

In practical terms Somalia has no business in SL. Somalia's continued existence a state is not in question, so really it's a matter of choices. That you don't seem comfortable with for some reason. You don't seem comfortable with the risks involved.
