In practical terms Somalia has no business in SL. Somalia's continued existence a state is not in question, so really it's a matter of choices. That you don't seem comfortable with for some reason. You don't seem comfortable with the risks involved.
Somaliland ceased to exist on July 1st 1960. All of its legal obligations and soverignity is held by the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The federal state of the Dir Woqooyi which adopted the name Somaliland is legally the same as Galmudug. You may find this objectionable, but it is the bare truth. It is what every single country in the world, all 193 members of the UN accept this fact.
What Somaliland can now do is poison the well from which all Somalis drink.
