I think he will get there eventually. He has some control over USAID already and both houses of congress are under Republican control. House foreign affairs and Senate Foreign relations committees are working with Trump to pursue reorganization of USAID.

Rumour is HSM is going to normalize relations with Israel to prevent Somaliland recognition. That's his move.

I think he'll offer up Somalia's resources too but it's too little too late I think. It's not believable.

For that to work there has to have been a history of maintaining deals which UN Somalia doesn't have and the assets need to be ready right now, no future promises.

Also, provable resources lol. It takes a ton of investment to get those resources but if Turkey finds out I guarantee democracy will be brought to Somalia.
