He’s already said all armed groups will have to lay down their weapons and/or join the official Syrian army. Best case scenario for them is to get Syrian citizenship and become civilians or be allowed to join the security forces as official Syrian army members or security guards. The Chinese and Russians will try harder to disrupt Syrian society if Jolani or any future government doesn’t get a grip on all these militias from Russian and Chinese Muslim areas roaming around Syria.

Combat experience is negligible when going up against opponents with inferior tech and training.
