It seems like a lot of Muslim men in the west pick and choose. They like to use Islamic laws when it benefits them but switch to blaming women and the west whenever it suits them.

I just don’t celebrate valentine. I did it once and felt like a massive simp so I never did it again

The thing is, 90% of women are so self-centered and used to simps that when I tell them no it almost always turns into a big fight. To save myself the headache I just break up with them a week before valentine and hit them up after to apologize.

Yes it is,haram Valentine’s Day has connections with Christianity. It was established to mourn the death of a so called "sainy" Valentine a Roman who was killed more than 1700 years ago. After the Romans became christian people still insisted on celebrating Valnetines. Also our last prophet has warned us not to imitate the disbelievers and their festivals which is unique to them were immorality and evil is wide spread. Valentine days also encourage zina and filth and even more haram to celebrate.
