The police are doing routine inspection and following routine I don't see how they treated them bad.. They probably came to check for weapons in the house.. Anyway what did the son do since police are reacting like this? Young Somali men should stop imitating madow, don't do drugs and don't commit crimes, your parents came to the west to give you a better life.. You have every opportunity to become successful through education and by taking a honest job.. Crime never pays off in the end you'll either get killed or end up in jail.
I felt bad since the kids are gonna be scarred for life not just that but since there isn’t a camera on every cop it would be easy for them to just plant a knife or a gun
Another problem was how they were mocking and laughing at the mother after crying and finding out about her sons death it was very sad to watch. They start cracking jokes on their names etc...

The son is dead, why do they need to raid the house with armed police in the middle of the night? One of the children has down syndrome and they showed no compassion. Whatever the son did the family didn't deserve to be treated like this whilst mourning. The mother's crying was really heartbreaking. They could have handled the situation much better.
Exactly! Armed police in the middle of the night in a house where there are young children, where was the immediate danger for all that unnecessary crap? The mothers crying almost broke my heart SubhanAllah, I just visioned my own mother in that situation, may Allah SWT not bring that upon us

This isnt Somalia, we have law and order. The boy was a career criminal, he made multiple wrong decisions. He should've been smarter, probably was one of those fentenl ciyalla suuq kids. Lets not lionize our criminals like madows do George Floyd.
About the house raid, nothing unsual they are doing an investigation, they weren't rude, merely getting details on his location.
I'm litterally older than this guy and never had a single issue with a cop, ever. Because I dont break the law.

And neither is this Afghanistan! Was there a need for them to enter the house in the middle of the night with guns like they’re about to enter a trap house?
No one is encouraging breaking the law, we are merely talking about how they could have dealt with that situation differently, with women and children in the house
May Allah SWT never test your ugly, cold heart and put your Mother or young siblings through such a traumatic experience

Did I say it was OK? All I wrote was the police are following their routine.. This is how they conduct their operation when dealing with criminals or people who are suspected of being criminals.. That's why I wrote don't do crime if you are a young Somali man because it'll have bad consequences not only on you but on your whole family....The American police and system is known to be brutal.

Ok I thought this happened as part of their hunt for the criminal son.. I agree they shouldn't treat the poor grieving family like that.. But the American police are brutal...America is one of the worst places to commit crime. I therefore advice my younger brothers don't commit crime behave well and take an education also stay away from drugs and hold fast to your diin.
