Law and order.Seeing the reaction from the community regarding this whole incident goes to show that we're reactive people instead of proactive.If half the energy went into tackling this issue amongst us there would be less Somali boys that end up in this position to begin with.

One son is arrested for murder and another son was shooting at the police and is now dead. Why anyone care about the family? Why tens of thousands was raised for him in go fund me? That money could have been spent on poor kids back in the motherland for school and who need food.

Actually yes they are to blame. They share blame. How can a family raise two sons like that? Even raising a one son who stole sweets at their age means the family didn't raise him well.

By all accounts the family is rotten and failure and nothing of value was lost here. Somalis has seen madow cry for their criminals and are just following them. The way the police handled the situation was complete wrong and this deserved to be critiqued. From what I read on the case there was no need to swat the house just after their son killed. The way they spoke to the family was also disrespectful, they wouldn’t speak or treat a white family like this. Also there is nothing wrong for showing compassion for a Somali mother.

The cops were professional, usually when they do this to AA's they dont comply at all, talk trash, and are generally resisting. They then get extra charges if not beat up and then the media will cry "muh police brutality". This family handled it well.

The only criminal in the family was the deceased. Why punish everyone else for his crimes? The officers could have came earlier if need be and not come in guns blazing.

Irrelevant, but he did have 2 brothers who were criminals one was a murderer and the other assaulted people.

The gun Dolal used was illegal/unregistered so they had to check the house for more illegal guns.
