I get it you are not from Puntland you have no vested interest hence no loyalty.

Just don't claim you're from Puntland then I ain't got a problem with the rest of Somalia in fact the other half of my family are from kismayo.

As you know, I'm a strong supporter of Gaas, but i got to say, I'm immensely disappointed in him for going to this meeting.

Farmajo, has been good to Puntland. He hasn't interfered in our developmental projects, such as the DP World Bosaso port deal. He hasn't said a word about, PL being on the Saudi-Emerati bloc, he hasn't acknowledged, HAGs dreams and aims against Puntland.

So for Farmajo, to be this good to Puntland, and Gaas to still be going against him, is woefully wrong on all levels. VP Camey, is on the right side. I think Gaas, still has a problem with Farmajo, about the issues they had during their PM days. Gaas still thinks this is the same Farmajo. And that's, just a damn shame.

It is naive to think that Farmaajo won't come for Puntland but Puntland doesn't have to go on the offensive at the moment. If farmaajo is going after the weak federal states like Galmudug, Hirsballe and Southwest, let him dimish them one by one. It would take him at least 2/3 years to accomplish that. Gaas should've waited with his preemptive strike when and if he came for Jubaland. When other presidents tried to desttroy PL, I didn't see them sending signals to the federal government that they are in solidarity with PL. This new acquired legitimacy of Hirshabelle president, Sharif Hassan and Xaaf will be used against Puntland in the near future. We've seen the end of this movie so many times.

Some are speculating or perhaps hoping for a political fallout between the president and the VP. Camey criticised the Kismayo meeting and Gaas went to that meeting two weeks later. They also use the reinstatement of a police chief that was suspended by Camey when Gaas was on Haj. Gaas lifted his suspension after few weeks. The police chief was suspended not fired, big difference.

Camey doesn't have to toe in line with the president because he too was elected and not handpicked by the president. It's a weird system.

Whats this meeting in Kismayo about?
Nobody knows. They say they want to be involved in the decision making proces. Let's wait for the communique.

However it did give impeached leaders or presidents with no clouds, such as the Hirshabelle and Sharif, a renewed legitimacy.
what does Farmajo want with it?
He's against it of course. It also corresponded with a conference organised by the government. They had to postpone it until further notice.

What is Farmaajo's aim in Galmudug?
