Somalis started migrating south with the start of the Ajuran Sultanate not 250 years ago. Lake Chamo is too far south we would have migrated South-North instead of the correct North-South migration if we were originally from there.
Most likely we moved in through north Western Ethiopia following the Cushitic migration then settled in Bale first before breaking off from other Cushities and invading Northern Somalia
