Wahhabis all secretly support Israel and they tie nationalism with religion. Its very easy to recognize Wahhabis as they give title the "Shaykh ul islam" to an apostate named ibn taymiyyah. In the 16th century, sunni muslims came to a consensus that ibn taymiyyah was a kafir.

"Ibn Taymiyya is a slave which Allah has forsaken and misguided and blinded and deafened and debased. That is the declaration of the imams who have exposed the corruption of his positions and the mendacity of his sayings. Whoever wishes to pursue this must read the words of the mujtahid imam Abu al-Hasan (Taqi al-Din) al-Subki, of his son Taj al-Din Subki, of the Imam al-`Izz ibn Jama`a and others of the Shafi`i, Maliki, and Hanafi shaykhs...In short, his words are not given any importance whatsoever; rather they are thrown aside into every wasteland and rocky ground, and it must be considered that he is a misguided and misguiding innovator (mubtadi` dall mudill) and an ignorant who brought evil (jahilun ghalun) whom Allah treated with His justice, and may He protect us from the likes of his path, doctrine, and actions", (16th century Shafi'i Scholar Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami)

Also watch out for Sufi wahhabi groups such as Deobandi or Muslim Brotherhood as they like to mix ideologies to deceive muslims

Sunni way consists of the 4 school of fiqh (maliki,hanafi,shaf'i and hanbali) and 2 schools of aqidah (ash'ari and maturidi)

Ibn Taymiyyah's blasphemous believes about Allah (SWT) are categorized as below.

• Allah (SWT) needs
• Allah (SWT) is divisible
  
• Allah (SWT) settles in a place
• Allah (SWT) has six limits
• Allah (SWT) has a size
• Allah (SWT) must be creating continuously, though He can choose what to create, but cannot choose whether to create or not.

Such beliefs are blasphemous and against al-Qur’an. All Muslims believe that Allah is supremely great, He does not resemble the creations in any way. His istiwa’ on the throne and his aboveness is in STATUS and RANK and NOT in literal height, spaces, or places!! Because Allah the exalted existed eternally before the creations and before time and place, without a form, shape, body or place. He cannot be imagined in the minds. Nothing resembles Allah whatsoever. When Prophet Muhammad was asked about the beginning of time he said: "Allah existed eternally and there was nothing else." al-Bukhariy. Hence, it is impossible that after having been existing without a place, He would become in a place, because this is a development, and the development is a sign of needing others, and the one who needs others is not God.

Hadeeth could be referring to that.
But let's say for arguments sake the Hadeeth is speaking about Najd in Hijaaz, what's to say it isn't talking about the corrupt satanic government? Why would you assume it's speaking about the Salafi aqeedah (which is the aqeedah taught by the messenger and us free of innovation).
