Leelkasse vs HG inside Gaalkacyo, but this is supposed to be something that isn't very intentional. Why would a war break out in the city instead of the outskirts.
Clearly one or several groups want to draw Majeerteen and even Puntland into a war. I just want to know which side started the war inside the city.

Allegations that Leelkasse started the fight inside Gaalkacyo. Like I suspected, the intention is to pull other clans into the war for backup. Why not ask for help or mediation??? Why the HELL would you want to break our backs like this, when we are dealing with terrorists in the mountains?

A Leelkasse man has been on video on social media saying "There will be no peace in Gaalkacyo"- that's why the Sacad were ready for the attack by Leelkasse.
This is so selfish and outrageous.
If your clan wants help, let them ask for it and plan for it in the right way, instead of trying to burn and distract us all, when we are dealing with INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM.

During Faroole's tenure, there was a clash between Puntland government and Leelkasse militias and yes, it involved allegations of AlShabab.

I don't believe in Darodism sis, but I respect hartinimo.. We cannot afford another war front as it is.. They should take their beefs with the hΓΌtΓΌs somewhere else.
If the Puntland government cannot provide effective solutions, the blame should not fall on the tribes. Since its establishment in 1998, Puntland has consistently failed to secure its borders be it in the south, Sool, Sanaag, or along the coastline. This negligence has allowed conflicts to fester unchecked. Instead of pointing fingers at tribes, hold Puntland accountable for its repeated inability to mitigate risks and threats.
Let me put this in perspective: when you leave a fire smoldering in the outskirts, itβs only a matter of time before the flames spread to the heart of the city. The recent clashes between two clans near the city are a direct result of Puntland's inaction. This is basic logic cause and effect, governance 101. Blaming the tribes for what is clearly a failure in leadership only exposes Puntland's incompetence in addressing systemic issues. Secure the borders, enforce the rule of law, or step aside for those who can.
