As for RB I remember Punite saying something along the lines of them wanting to settle in Jiicboor and act as a coalition rappel Sacad. So at this point it's not about whether we can fill the land it's about the conflict with a rival clan. My point is that RB over time would turn into and adversary that would expand as all people naturally do. This situation by far would be worse compare to our current predicament. If I made the decision I would have refused access to sacad and said lets just fight off rip because they were gonna do that in the future anyway. Alas hindsight is 20/20.

As for population it is no secret that leelkase is one of the smaller daroods with kabalax being at minimum 65-70% of darood. Even then the clan breaks down as Kabalax > Sade > Tanade > Yusuf > Cisse. Given our situation I think my clan elders are playing their card wisely by refusing other darood to settle in the land.

Forget offering to live there. The biggest shock, is that LK refused MJ's offer to go to war against these land-encroachers a few years ago. LK's so-called strategy bit your clan in the behind. You never turn down an offer to get rid of land squatters. Afkaa laga haraatiya as soon as possible.

It is being brought up so that people learn from historical mistakes. MJs don't want LK land for expansion purposes, we want to protect the territorial integrity of Puntland and the economic viability of G-G-G and we want LK to lead that area. We also want smart choices to be made, not rash decisions that put innocent people at risk.

RB has no issue outside of petty Mudug aano qabiil and neither do I. I just want LK to deal with this issue in a firm manner and not show naivety towards people who are disrespectful land thieves.

It's not for free, it would be grazing access in exchange for a military alliance. I understand not agreeing to that, but I cannot understand refusing military support to get rid of these goons a few years ago.
