Why didn’t (medieval Somalis ) take Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda’s + all the island next to those countries for themselves?

Somalis were invading Kenya already. We owned from hararghe in the west, zelia north and wajir south.
Somalis and muslim oromo nearly took all of Kenya but were stopped by the British.

Even then, Somalis did conquer a shit ton of land, looking at an ethnic map of Africa somalis would be the largest bloc in sub sahara.

Had colonisation not happend somalis and muslim oromo would've taken the entire great lakes region making east Africa essentially a muslim somali-oromo region without our two ethnicities being well over 500 million.

I’m of the same opinion. It would be harder populate mainland African counties, but islands like Zanzibar would’ve been much easier.

They used to dominate slave trade along the entire East African coast and beyond, so it’s not surprising that they used those selves to work for them.

By the end of the British protectorate in the 60s, the Omani Arab population were right under 20%.

I guess they thought that they would be able to maintain minority-rule of the island with no end in sight, lol.

Somalis expanding into east Africa will happen very easily if we compose ourselves.
Literally a single homogenous ethnicity with the largest landmass. Only ethnic group that can sustain itself as its own state.
Large fertile lands especially in the south and costs to fish which can feed our population 5x to more over.

All we need is to get our clans in order and Somali domination is guaranteed. No other ethnicity can play politics like us. We are both a tribe and a nation state. Not a single peoples in the region can say the same.
