Weird thing about dna tests

idk that much about dna but why are these the only regions that show up when somalis take dna tests. The guy who posted these dna results is not even from these regions but is from the habar awal clan and got haplogroup T, and they didn't give him any northern regions even though he is from a northern clan. The closest region he got was the Mudug region which is interesting because i've heard people say that most somalis have this region as their closest in terms of dna. Does this mean that somalis are originally from this area or are there any plausible reasons for this.

here is the link:

Here is another person who is from the Dir clan and go haplogroup T but his regions are highlighted as south and east somalia. Anyone know why the north is not included?

100% that individual isn’t HA.Too many HY & HJ pro-Isaaqs trolls lie in order to pretend that Isaaq is a united clan. They claim HA & Arap are majority T which is the farthest from the truth.

As for my 23&me results, I also got Mudug as my top region. They don’t include SL. Inshallah SL will be a separate region on their platform

If you don't think that person is HA then provide proof for your claim because I'm just stating what the reddit user said their clan was. Also, I don't undestand what you mean by "united clan", are trying to say the HA and Arap clans are a confederation? To add to this, there are other clans that have people from the same clan getting different haplogroups so I wouldn't put too much thought into that.

Anyways the main point was about why the north is not included in DNA tests so thank you for answering my question.

I have quite a few HA show up on my 23andme and ftdna as T, but also get E-V32 ones, is E-V22 the standard for Arap?

Most HA are going to be E-V32 from what I've seen online.

Why don't they show all Somali inhabited regions instead. What do Somali Djiboutians and Somali Galbeed show up as?

idk that's the same question I was asking which is why I posted this thread, but Garaad awal said they just don't include other areas.

Sheegaatos. The only confirmed T I have ever seen comes from a small clan and even then I seen results from them that were E-V32 (probably the HA clade if deep tested).

There is no 100% homogenous clan but there are pro-Isaaq unity folks who hate how DNA is exposing it as a confederation.

Arap mostly have E-V22 but I have seen one with E-M78* on 23&me. None of the Arap have deep tested nor the Sanbuur E-V16 folks either.

so if you're saying Isaaq is a confederation, would Isaaqs with different haplogroups be considered a different clan, or would you consider them to have no clan, or would you just consider Isaaq to be a fake person who Isaaqs say they descend from.

Every clan has multiple lineages but every clan also has a foundational lineage. Most sub clans are real but once you get to the Isaaq,Hawiye & Darood level it all falls apart as none of these clans at the highest levels have foundational lineages even though their sub clans do.
