Were Somalis mentioned in any Religious Books?

They were called Abyssinians back then until 1950s when they changed their name. The Horn region was called Aethiopia by Greek I think. That’s why so many things that happened in the Horn region are attributed to Ethiopia

Aethiopia was in reference to a Sudanese kingdom; it has nothing to do with the Habash.

The Habash literally changed their name to Ethiopia in order to associate themselves with Biblical Ethiopia -> Kush.
