Oh please stop turning this into a Somali women vs Non Somali issue, that Somali girl is literally sexualizing the hijab and making a mockery. One doesn’t have to be a Muslim, let alone a non Hijabi to see this.

Somali or not, you’ll never see me defend a girl who is clearly making content for the male gaze. She’s reduced the hijab as a prop to draw men in. It’s a joke for her and I’m not here for it, so miss me with the woe is me everyone is against Somali girls schtick.

This is clearly a case of Somali girl vs. non-Somali. That Syrian girl isn’t showing her ass, she’s actually dressed more modest than the so called ‘hijabi’ which should tell you everything.

That Somali girl is literally sexualizing the hijab and making a mockery of a garb that’s meant to be the antithesis of immodesty.

If the Somali girl didn’t wear sexy clothing whilst popping a hijab on her head but was only showing her fringe or wearing baggy jeans and that Syrian girl commented, I would totally agree with you, but you and I and everyone here who is honest knows this isn’t what is happening. I’ve seen enough videos of that Somali girl to know she uses the hijab as a prop for the male gaze. This form of content is for men who sexualize the hijab and have some sort of fetish, that’s the nonsense she encourages.

This isn’t the same though. Let’s be consistent and honest. I’ve made it clear, if she was a Hijabi who maybe showed parts of her hair and wore trousers but wasn’t sexualizing herself and that non Hijabi commented, I’d totally see your point and would have labeled that Syrian girl a hypocrite.
