What changed Somali women (Video archives)

I would like to take this solemn opportunity to introduce some footage from pre-1991 Somalia. We have unfortunately regressed in every possible avenue from economic output to freedom.

Brava 1978, both men and women engage in running a local fishery on a lazy afternoon:

Horta even the women looked healthier and more beautiful back then. In the pictures there are no make up just the bright vibrant face of young girls helping their nation.

We did have a civil war that's affecting us till this day. With millions of somali across the world

The city and people looked beautiful ,imagine waltzing around in this beautiful city drinking shaah while flirting with your crush in perfect af-soomali:

What I always wanted to know is how did our body type, skin color and face shape etc changed. Every single photo pre1990 the women were tall, thin, no big butts. Everyone had this glowing dark chocolate color so no light skinned xalimos. And virtually all the women had narrow oval shaped face. Now most xalimos are the opposite of this, especially body-wise even back in Somalia. The men changed too but not as drastically. Like Somali women(and men) today look like completely different ethnicity from the past....and not in a good way lol. How strange! I think people have generally gotten uglier in the last 50 yrs but we take the cake lol!

I don't know either, it's as if post-1991 we transformed into beasts. Our whole aura transformed from peace-loving people to wahabi triablist suicide bombers who.

tbh i dont really see what the difference is in terms of appearance they look like normal somalis, with a different style.
