My brother was mentioning how the saudis are gonna have trouble seeing the moon on saturday and calling on other countries to sight it so most likely it would be sighted on monday, however my mosque calendar says sunday and that is never seems to be wrong
The kingdom has often reported moon sightings on days when scientists and astronomers insist it is not possible to see it

Found this interesting article about how saudi will sometimes report impossible moon sightings most likely so that the dates will conform to their ummul quraa calendar which is probably what my mosque calendar uses which is why it never seems to be wrong
So Eid most likely will be announced by saudi on Sunday despite whether it truly lands on that date or not, Reminds me of the arabian jaahils when they would delay the forbidden conflict months for their own benefit
Surprisingly, the mosques in my area have already called Eid Al Fitr for Sunday. It's unlike them to call for Eid early but inshallah there's consensus for Sunday.
