No offense to you but I don’t see them as people with a lot of common sense. They are easily enticed by the charming words or the things Christians do for them to convert them. Christians show them fake love and support and they take it as a genuine concern for their wellbeing when it’s only a tactic.

Reminds me in India they call the christian converts "rice bag" because the missionaries came with bags of rice they would give if they converted
